u10 born between Aug 1 2016 - July 31 2017
u11 born between Aug 1 2015 - July 31 2016
u12 born between Aug 1 2014 - July 31 2015
u13 born between Aug 1 2013 - July 31 2014
u14 born between Aug 1 2012 - July 31 2013
u15 born between Aug 1 2011 - July 31 2012
u16 born between Aug 1 2010 - July 31 2011

Travel Soccer – South County Athletic Association (SCAA)

Join one of the most respected and player-focused travel soccer programs in Fairfax County. At SCAA, we’re committed to developing skilled, confident, and passionate young athletes through expert coaching, competitive play, and a supportive community environment. Whether you're a returning player or new to travel soccer, our program emphasizes individual growth, teamwork, tactical awareness, and fun on the field.

Tryout Details:  
- Arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in and warm-up. 
- Bring: water bottle, and your own soccer ball. 
- Format: Skills assessments (dribbling, passing, shooting), small-sided games, and fitness drills. 
- Who should attend: All interested players U9–U18 – both returning and new players must attend at least one session to be considered. 
- What to wear: Athletic clothing, shin guards, cleats, and weather-appropriate layers. 

Team Selections: Notifications will be sent via email after tryout session(s)

Our experienced coaching staff provides personalized guidance, technical training, and tactical insights to help every player reach their full potential. We foster a positive, growth-oriented environment with regular feedback and opportunities to build both individual skills and team chemistry.

Parent Involvement: Parents are welcome at games and encouraged to support their athletes. We’ll schedule occasional parent meetings to share progress updates and answer questions.

Weather Policy: Sessions proceed as scheduled unless severe weather forces cancellation. Updates will be shared promptly via email and the team app.

Fall Training/Play – Starts approximately August 12, 2026 
 - Tryouts: April 24th, 2026 (5:45PM – 9:00 PM), more times possible

Winter/Indoor Training/Play – Starts approximately December 12, 2026 
- Midseason Tryouts available on request

Spring Training/Play - Starts approx April 11th, 2027
- Midseason Tryouts available on request

- Summer Training/Play – Starts approximately June 14, 2027
